My Story
My name is Salo Aburto-Lenett, and I've always been fascinated by stories — the ones we tell, the ones we experience, and the ones that bring us closer to each other.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and the son of immigrants from Venezuela and Peru, I grew up in Miami surrounded by different cultures and perspectives that shaped my curiosity about how people communicate and connect.
That curiosity led me to Washington, D.C., where I attended American University and built a career around digital strategy, communications, and storytelling. After more than a decade in the D.C. area, I traded monuments for skyscrapers and art, moving to Brooklyn with my husband, Aron, and our sweet Cavapoo, Pedri.
My background continues to guide how I approach life and work, with this belief at the core: The best experiences start by understanding the people they're created for.

Creating Digital Experiences That Connect

My curiosity and problem-solving mindset have always driven me to make sense of the messy. Whether it’s a new idea, a tricky challenge, or an existing product that needs a little love, I enjoy finding ways to make things clearer and better.
Throughout my career, I’ve used this approach to create digital experiences that help people find what they need, understand complex ideas, and connect with what matters.
